You have been my pillar of light
In my brightest day
You have been my pillar of cloud
To show me the way
You lay out the road ahead of me
Lit by bright glory

Guiding my steps
By your wonderful love divine
There are paths that seem right
But they are trails to eternal night

That drives away all my hidden fears

As a child breathes on glass
And forms a vapor
That quickly fades into the past
So it be with me
And your Holy majesty
In the beginning you made man
A work of art sculpted
By the Holy master’s hand
Human life began
By your breath given to the man
You are Lord God eternal
I am man temporal
The man fell from grace
Sin came in
And death shortened his days
His life within
Was a momentary fade away
This remained the same for years
Until the foretold
Holy anointed one appeared
His life was more
Than momentary misty vapor
You are Messiah eternal
Come to redeem
The human temporal
We were like the flowers
That fade away
Till you took on our vapor
At Calvary
What a price you paid

LIVING RESERVIOR

I come to the mercy seat
Bowing low to wash the Master’s feet
With the pitcher in my hand
To serve the sinless son of man
The Lord of glory I adore
Jesus the living reservoir
I want to be the man
With the pitcher in his hand
Handing out living drink
To the dry and dying of the land
Always drawing from you the reservoir for more
So I can hand out life to the weak and poor
My Lord and King these you came for
Living water heal and restore
Be within me rivers of living waters
Flowing out to your sons and daughters
So they can fill the pitchers in their hands
And hand out new life to a dying land
I want to be the man

Bringing new life to wayward man

I return to you the reservoir
To fill up with more

Many are battered sick and bruised
trapped by the spirit of death
you cannot avoid it in the daily news
many are taking their last breaths
My eyes cannot help but see reality
This nation has a mortal wound
I cry out for you to have mercy
All I can do is give myself to you
I lay down my life as a sacrifice
Set it ablaze in this evil days
And light this present night
showing the lost the living way
In the streets violence resounds
just like in the days of Noah
sexual immorality really abounds
reflecting the sins of Gomorah
From the television and movie screens
masses are eating poisoned fruit
most are feeding on lust and greed
All I can do is give myself to you
I lay down my life as a sacrifice
Set it on fire, as you desire
And light this darkest night
show the way out of the mire
